Energy Ratings For Existing Houses

House Energy Rating Tools can be used to rate both new and existing homes. Energy ratings can be used to help you make decisions on insulation levels, floor coverings, window shading and window placement and to name a few. If you are thinking of renovating or simply want to know how to make your home more energy efficient, an accredited assessor is able to help.

If you achieve a 4 star rating or above the certificate can also be used to promote your homes efficiency to future buyers.

Clients wishing to have their existing house rated can either take responsibility for the collection of data about the home themselves or employ an Accredited Assessor to both collect the data and complete the rating.

To find an Assessor go to the Find An Assessor page.
